Holidays

Thanksgiving was nice and actually somewhat relaxed for me.  Tony fried 2 turkeys...one for a friend and one for us.  Dorothea, Allison, and Micah came down from Phoenix and my family was over as well.  Then I got to do some black friday/thursday shopping.  Didn't get any big items, but Embry definitely needed some warm 5T clothes so I got some cheap pjs etc.

Then I helped run the Antiquities photo session fundraiser for MOPS childcare at church for a few days.  It was lots of work and involved a loooong ordeal of locking my keys in my car along with 4 peoples lunches from Chipotle.  Luckily a girl I know from MOPS was inside eating lunch with her kiddos so I sat with her while I waited for Tony to drive up from work with the extra set of keys to let me into the car.  Anyhow, the pictures turned out soooo cute, I love them!

Embry Turns 5!

Embry's birthday was a lot of fun for all of us!  We went to see 'Thor 2' at the theater in the morning.  I was a little nervous on taking Nola since it's live action and has some fight scenes etc but she did great!  They both loved it and of course Tony and I did as well.  Then we drove up Mt. Lemmon and had a pizza at the cookie cabin for lunch and walked around to see the fall leaves, take some pictures, and the girls played in a very very cold stream.  It was a beautiful day.  Then Embry wanted to eat at 'noisy ball Mcdonalds' (one with a new play area) for dinner so we did that and then when we got home had cake and Embry and Tony finished building the Daily Bugle Lego set.  A good time was had by all and now I have a 5 year old! Eeeeeeek!

Super Duper Birthday Bash

Embry and Nola's super hero themed birthday party was really fun to set up and the girls had such a good time!  It was quite a busy few days for me, and I didn't get eveyrthing done that I had wanted to initially, but it turned out great none-the-less.  I especially liked the super hero city (boxes that were covered with black plastic table cloths and windows glued on out of cardstock) which I put Dorothea to work on while she was down for the weekend.  We got a big jumping castle with a slide to put in the backyard and my mom and brother worked really hard to add on monkeybars to the swingset in time for the party.
